Privacy Policy

Who we are#

CleanedWeb is a product of Vaso Ventures LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. This policy covers our website, business communications, accounts, API builder, and related data services. For privacy questions or requests, email info@cleanedweb.com.

Customer applications and source websites have their own privacy practices. Where we process information for a customer under a signed data-processing agreement, that agreement also applies.

Information you provide#

We process account and business contact details, sign-in information, communications, support attachments, and billing records. When you choose a third-party sign-in provider, we receive identity information needed to establish and link your account, such as an account identifier, email address, and profile name.

We also process the source URLs, field selections, queries, configuration, and other inputs you submit. Source previews, saved API definitions, example records, and execution results may contain personal information from the source. Avoid submitting private credentials or information unnecessary for your task.

Request and service information#

Our service and infrastructure providers may process IP addresses, device and browser information, requested URLs, timestamps, response statuses, and security events. Service records can include workspace identifiers, credential metadata, usage and credit events, errors, and diagnostic information.

The signed-in application uses a session cookie. Sign-in redirects use temporary server-side transaction records. The public marketing pages do not load analytics or advertising tags in the current implementation. They load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends font requests to Google. Those requests disclose technical information such as your IP address and browser request headers. The application uses browser storage for interface preferences and saved searches; builder interfaces can also retain source URLs, build identifiers, and pending submissions. Blocking necessary storage can prevent sign-in or interrupt a workflow. You can clear cookies and site storage through your browser settings; doing so does not delete server-side account or billing records.

Information from sources#

Supported sources may contain names, professional contact details, and other personal information among the records you request. We process source information to provide structured output and maintain the requested API. A source being public does not remove the rights of the people described in it.

If a CleanedWeb record contains personal information you believe is inaccurate or should be removed or restricted, send us the source URL and enough information to identify the record. Do not send unnecessary sensitive information.

How we use information#

We use information to authenticate accounts; provide and meter the service; process payments; respond to questions; investigate errors and abuse; maintain and improve the service; and meet legal, accounting, and contractual obligations. We also send service communications and respond to business inquiries.

Where a legal basis is required, processing relies as applicable on performance of a contract, steps you request before a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, legal obligations, or consent where requested. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it.

Sharing and service providers#

We use providers for hosting, infrastructure, security, identity, payments, and communications. Information is disclosed as needed for those functions. Selected source content and configuration may also be processed by model providers where a discovery or build workflow uses model assistance.

We may share information with professional advisers, where legally required, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer subject to applicable protections. Customer-directed output is delivered to the customer and any destinations they configure; their subsequent use is governed by their own responsibilities and policies.

We do not use account, sign-in, or billing information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Separately, our paid data service delivers customer-requested source records, which can include personal information. The treatment of that delivery under privacy law depends on the data, the parties’ roles, and the applicable law. Contact us to ask about a source record or exercise an applicable privacy right.

Retention and deletion#

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, comply with law, resolve disputes, and maintain financial or contractual records. The period depends on the information, the account relationship, source restrictions, and whether it is in active systems or backups. Temporary source previews expire separately from saved builds. Preview expiry is an access limit, not a promise that all copies, diagnostic records, or backups are deleted at that instant.

To request account or data deletion, contact us with the relevant account or record identifier. We may verify your identity and explain information we must retain. Deleting local browser storage does not close an account. Copies you or another customer have exported must be managed by the holder of those copies.

Security and international processing#

We use measures designed to protect information, but no service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your credentials and exports secure, and report suspected exposure promptly. See our Security page for integration guidance and reporting.

Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where providers operate. Applicable protections and transfer arrangements depend on the service and governing agreement. Contact us before submitting data that requires a specific processing location or contractual safeguard.

Your choices and rights#

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of processing; object to certain processing; withdraw consent; or complain to a data-protection authority. You can opt out of marketing messages while continuing to receive necessary service communications.

Send requests to info@cleanedweb.com. Authorized agents should provide evidence of authority. We may need to verify identity and may retain or withhold information where permitted or required by law. We do not discriminate against people for exercising applicable privacy rights.

Children and changes#

CleanedWeb is a business service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 through account registration. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.

We will post revisions to this policy with an updated date and provide additional notice of material changes where required.
