This page summarizes the data-use responsibilities in our Terms of Use for source inputs, collected records, exports, and API output. A signed agreement with CleanedWeb controls where it conflicts with those terms. Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information.
Source access and rights#
Use CleanedWeb only for lawful purposes and sources you are authorized to process. Do not bypass access controls or submit stolen credentials or material you have no right to provide.
You are responsible for complying with source terms, intellectual-property rights, privacy obligations, and restrictions applicable to your collection and use of data. Public availability is not a license to use information for every purpose. Third-party content remains subject to its owners’ rights; CleanedWeb does not grant ownership of source content.
Using and sharing output#
You are responsible for checking your downstream uses, including displaying, sharing, or redistributing collected information, against the applicable source rights and restrictions. Do not use collected information for unlawful surveillance, discrimination, harassment, or other abuse.
Protect your credentials and restrict access to authorized users. Keep confidential information and credentials out of public source URLs and support examples. Contact us before submitting information requiring specific processing or confidentiality terms that have not been agreed with us.
Verify before relying on data#
Review the generated schema, version, limits, and response summaries before relying on output. A preview is not a completed API. Collection can be bounded or partial, and sources may change or become unavailable.
CleanedWeb does not promise that output is accurate, exhaustive, current, or suitable for a particular decision. You are responsible for checking output and your downstream uses. Monitoring does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, complete coverage, or successful repair of every source change.

For questions about data use, contact info@cleanedweb.com. If a record contains personal information you believe is inaccurate or should be removed or restricted, include the source URL and enough information to identify the record. Do not send unnecessary sensitive information.
