About this API

Finn.no is a large Norwegian classifieds site. This API reads its marketplace search results and returns a record for each ad: title, price, currency, condition, brand, location, image and link.

Prices are in the currency the ad uses, and condition comes as a code such as UsedCondition. Search text, category, location, condition, price range and sort order are inputs, so one run can follow a single search.

Compare asking prices for a second-hand item.
Watch for new ads that match a search.
Collect ad data for market research.

dealer_segment choice

Optional. Filters by the site's dealer segment control.

trade_type choice

Optional. Filters by the site's trade type control.

for_rent choice

Optional. Filters by the site's for rent control.

sort choice

Order of the collection, as the site's own sort control offers it; omitted keeps the site's default order.

Options: Eldste først (PUBLISHED_ASC), Mest relevant (RELEVANCE), Nyeste først (PUBLISHED_DESC), Pris høy-lav (PRICE_DESC), Pris lav-høy (PRICE_ASC).

enrich_records is on by default and adds the fields that only appear on each record's detail page. Send false to read list fields only. See Run an API.

Save the Idempotency-Key before you send, and reuse it only to retry the same request. The key needs the run scope. See Run a catalog API.

Limitations

Send your own search term: without one this API reads its default search, leica m6.
Dates are returned as the source writes them, such as 21. sep.
Runs return each ad's location and the seller details the source shows. The sample on this page leaves them out.

Reach. A run reads until the source ends or your max_items, timeout_seconds or budget stops it.
